Oyster Lake Park and Matagorda

We decided to check out Oyster Lake Park after hearing that it was a good spot to fish. It was right before a big cold front so we wanted to get some fishing in before the weather hit.

Earlier that morning we stopped by The Point in Palacios and met @Harold and @Keep.it.reel Larry while we were grabbing some breakfast tacos. We told them our game plan to try Oyster Lake and even got some feedback and tips on other local spots.

We tried out Oyster Lake Park and then headed to 3 Mile Cut off Matagorda Beach.

Hey guys! Loved the Oyster Lake Park at Palacios video! There's good fishing there; but. I think the weather conditions affected the bite. Larry and I didn't catch anything either but still had a great time! Eduardo is honing his fishing skills!
