My trout spotlight setup

IMG_3864.jpeg

I wanted to show my setup for night fishing. If anyone needed some ideas on how to get it done. The light on the water is washed out in the picture, but it gives a nice big focused spot 10-40ft out.
It’s 2 par56 stage lights I got on eBay for $20 each. With 500W halogen bulbs and a LED work light for general light around the car. The 2nd picture is a close up of how I usually use them with the 2nd light hanging from the 1st one. But I have had them on separate stands if there’s a few of us fishing.

I leave the generator in the trunk so I don’t have to pick it up and down. But I leave all the windows open and point the exhaust out and downwind. I do take it out if the wind isn’t really blowing to keep the exhaust out. But running it on propane is great, no gas smell in the car on the drive.
I used to take a lot more but this is my quick 15 min setup for a few hours of fishing.
