We’ll be hitting the Hwy 188 Kayak Launch in Port Bay tomorrow morning (8/2). It’s a nice protected bay, and with winds forecasted at just 5–6 mph, it should be pretty dang mirror out there.
Tide will be moving out, so the plan is to target the bridge and wade out on the east side of the outlet. We’ll be casting toward the structure, hoping to entice those early morning feeding bites.
If anyone wants to link up, we’ll be out there at first light! Open invite to any waders, shore fishermen, or yak anglers who want to join in and work the area with us.
