If you are talking about surfside in Freeport then I would try Bridge Bait. They are super nice and always have what we need even when the other shops are not open.

I know you already went fishing, Hope you had a good time!
But for reference if anyone looks this one up later.
You just have to look for the flags and see who is open. Late in the day or busy weekends they are out of Live Shrimp fast. I'm not particular to any of the shops down there. Saltgrass, Hookers, or Bridgebait. But if they are closed, I just go back to the Buccee's and get frozen from the freezers. I've had to do that a few times for late night trips to the Jetty.
