The first thing on the to do list is remove factory flooring and get some killmat sound deadening laid down.

Next up we will add the Impact products floor insulation kit which includes two layers of minicell with a layer of 3M TAI between. First we add the strips of minicell between the ridges of the floor.

Next the layer 3M TAI

The next layer of minicell is laid in full sheets over the 3M TAI layer.

Finally the stock floor is put back on top and lightly bolted down. We do not tighten it down until we put the final flooring down over the stock floor.

Next up we pull the factory sprinter wiring and protect it by looming over it.

We then place it behind the wall so that it is not exposed. This helps to make sure that it is nicely out of the way for any parts of the future build out. A few zip ties later and it will not even be visible.

Next up we start working on the install of the Tern Overland Roof Hatch.

One thing about the Sprinter vans is that the stock speakers are not very good quality. We needed to add just a bit more sound deadening to the door and some insulation so our client agreed to go ahead and have the doors fitted with better JBL co-axial speakers.
