Hello fellow anglers !! I don't know if y'all guys have heard a white bass also known as Sand Bass a lot of fun to catch on light setup ..Different areas Cypress creek, Spring creek San jacinto River , Lake Houston common places to find them they migrate through the San jacinto and spawn inside the creeks when the temperature drops into the 35° . You can throw tandem rigs with curly tails and white rooster tails for live bait minnows
 
So with an ultralight setup I bet they are a blast to try to land them. BTW if you have an image you want to use for your profile avatar simply post it and I will crop and add it as your avatar.

Yes they are but I'm kind of cautious on the ultralights because every once in a while you hook into a hybrid bass 10 -12 lb line perfect
