Vega Rods

This past Friday I was fishing off a dock after returning from a afternoon guided trip. There I met a guy that saw me casting my usual FTU green rod and trusty Shimano Curado. He told me about his combo which was brand called Vega Rods and he had it paired with a Diawa Tatula 80 bait caster. He told me to give it a toss with an 1/8 oz jig head and MAN I threw it AT LEAST another 50 feet further and it was smooth as butter. I am really thinking about getting a new combo since I fish way more lately so this is high on my list as of Friday lol. Here are some pics I took of his custom Vega Rod.

I found more images of the rod on the instagram and it is listed as LM-LITE with carbon fiber grips.

Some rods load up different make it easier to toss ultralight lures . There alot JDM bfs bait caster reels on the market . Go with a custom rod built around the reel you pick you'll get the true performance cast a ability out setup

That rod looks amazing
