Palacios and Matagorda - 01-18-25

Today we went to Palacios to try Oyster Lake and met Harold and Larry while we were grabbing some breakfast at the point. Cool getting to meet them and talking fishing. They watch some of the videos so it was great getting some feedback and tips on local spots.

After we tried Oyster Lake we headed to 3 mile cut on Matagorda Beach. No luck but had s fun day and made some plans for upcoming things we want to do.

It was a real pleasure meeting these guys! I really enjoy the VASTOVERLAND channel! Looking forward to the many adventures posted!
After we ran into these cool folks, we headed back home with no fish; but stopped at Lake Somerville and caught 2 blues! Keeping it reel!
