Learning when the best times are to go fish

I’ve been trying to learn more about what times and days are the best for getting bites. I’ve been using an app called fishing times witch tells you the best times each day, plus what days are the best to catch and and you can actually be specific on the spot you are fishing at. I’ve also been using the website called tides for fishing. And that tells you a whole bunch of information.

It will tell you what the tides are doing and what the pressure is the wind speed and direction. And it will actually show you what specific times are gonna see the most activity. So yesterday I looked at all the info and it was good for a good night of fishing. So I bought live crab and headed to the dike. Me and my brother got 4 black drum in 5 hours. So I would say the apps worked.

Wow those are some nice drum! We need to try the apps. @LarryBoy was explaining a bit about tides to us the other day and one big factor is that fishing is better on either an outgoing or incoming tide. I have heard about the barometric pressure also effects it but have no idea how that works.
