Greens Lake - Hitchcock TX

Anyone here ever bank fished at Greens Lake in Hitchcock, Tx? On Google maps, looks like there's no vehicular access. Kayak access seems extremely difficult launching from Galveston, unless you have pedal drive. Would appreciate any advice.

I’ve always wondered how to get back to those lakes! It does look like way too long of a paddle for the kayak.
