This past weekend my son and I went to the Texas City Dike to try to get in on the start of the annual October flounder run. We had previously tried a couple of weeks before with no success but went for it again. I love being out there on the water spending time with my son.
I recently picked up some of the Salty Head jigs and tandem rigs. So far I am liking the build quality of the Doormat Slayer, too bad I lost one on my last cast of the day as I got hung up on the rocks.
