Hey y’all, just wanted to share my first attempt at telling a full fishing story on video. We hit Port Lavaca the Saturday before Easter — wind was howling, the pier was slammed, and the bite was dead. But we pivoted.
Packed up and headed to 6 Mile Park — a little less known, a little more quiet — and it turned into one of those nights that sticks with you. Gaftop were everywhere, a fin showed up just long enough to haunt us, and we heard whispers of blacktips caught days before. No trophy catches, but the story was solid.
This is my first real shot at editing and narrating. more about the feel, the place, and the people than just the fish.
Would love to hear what you think — and if any of you have shark stories from 6 Mile, drop them below.
